ஜிம்மிடம் நிறைய சாமான் இருக்கிறது. அதனால் பஸ்ஸில் போக விரும்பவில்லை. ஆட்டோ ரிக்ஷாவில் சாமானோடு போகிறார். வழியில் ஒரு ஆற்றைக் கடக்க வேண்டும். ஆற்றின் மேல் உயரமான பாலம் இருக்கிறது. ஆட்டோரிக்ஷாவால் பாலத்தின் மேல் வேகமாக ஏற முடியவில்லை. ஆட்டோக்காரன் காக்கிச் சட்டை போடவில்லை. அதனால் போலீஸ்காரர் வண்டியை நிறுத்துகிறார். அபராதம் கட்டச் சொல்கிறார். இதில் கொஞ்ச நேரம் போகிறது. இதனால் ஜிம் வீட்டுக்குத் தாமதமாகப் போகிறார்.
இனிமேல் ஆட்டோவுக்குப் பதில் பஸ்ஸில் போக வேண்டும். ஆட்டோவில் சில நன்மைகள் உண்டு. அதிக சாமான்களைக் கொண்டுபோகலாம். அது பஸ்ஸை விட வேகமாகவும் போகும். ஆட்டோ டீசலில் ஓடுகிறது. அதிலிருந்து நிறைய புகை வரும். புகையில் சுவாசிப்பது கஷ்டம். புகை நமக்கு நல்லது இல்லை. அதனால் பஸ்ஸில் போவது நல்லது. அல்லது சைக்கிளில் போகலாம். நடப்பது இன்னும் நல்லது.

In the formal style, there are two negative forms: இல்லை for negating existence (there is no…) and அல்ல for negating identity (it is not…). But the former is used commonly in both senses. The colloquial style has only the former).
